An Event is a form of turf where you compete in a defined area for a short period of time. All in the normal app.

When an event starts, a countdown is shown and new zones pop up within the boundaries of the event area. An event toplist is added and you compete for the zones for a limited time.
When the event ends, all the event zones disappear and the normal turf zones come back.

Events can either be public or private. Public events are free for anyone to join without notice. Private events are invite only.
